As a registered patent attorney with a degree in engineering and more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, Paul Weidlich is committed to providing you with practical, results-driven, cost-effective legal services and advice on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Paul also has extensive experience with intellectual property transactions, including drafting and negotiating nondisclosure, license, joint development, manufacturing, purchase, and merger and acquisition agreements as well as conducting IP due diligence. In addition, Paul has experience with providing legal opinions on patentability, freedom-to-operate, validity, enforceability, and infringement issues.
Ashley Weidlich is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. As such, she provides the invaluable insight and guidance that keeps the business of the firm running like a fine-tuned machine. Ashley is a law school graduate and has experience working in a mid-size law firm.
With more than a combined 30 years of working in mid-size law firms, Paul and Ashley founded BRIGHTWISE Law to provide the quality and experienced advice and legal services its clients expect from a larger law firm at a cost that fits the budget of almost any innovator.
